CASE STUDY

Seamac Insurance Brokers

Redesign Responsive Video Web Design
Seamac Insurance Brokers

Seamac Insurance Brokers is a long-standing marine insurer, and the brief went well beyond a standard redesign. Alongside the new site — more pages, a blog, custom graphics and a short home-page video introducing the most-searched insurance services — we built an online payment system with autobilling for policy premiums, so a client’s insurance renewed and billed automatically instead of relying on manual follow-up.

A custom CRM tracked leads and client relationships behind the scenes, and the whole build was backed by local SEO work to keep Seamac visible against the national insurance brands competing for the same searches — all wrapped in a fully responsive layout that held up on whatever device a client opened it on.

WHAT WE BUILT

What it took off the brokers' plate

  • Autobilling

Premiums renewed and billed automatically. Renewals no longer depended on someone remembering to follow up, which is where policies quietly lapse.

  • Online Payment System

Clients could pay their premiums online, at any hour, without a phone call.

  • Local SEO

The national insurance brands compete hard for the same searches. Local SEO kept Seamac in front of the people most likely to want a local marine broker.

  • Custom CRM

Leads and clients were tracked behind the scenes, so every enquiry and every policy holder had a history.

  • Home Page Video

A short video introduced the services people search for most, answering the first question before anyone had to ask it.

  • Lead Capture

Visitors comparing cover could leave their details for a broker to follow up.

  • Marketing Emails

Clients could hear about changes and new cover without waiting for renewal time.

  • Product Sales

Products and payments ran through the same system as everything else, with no separate checkout to manage.

  • Contact Forms

A simple way to ask about a policy.

  • Fully Responsive Website

It held up on whatever device a client opened it on.
