Privacy Policy

Last updated: 11 August 2026.

In this policy, “us”, “we” or “our” means CrunchPixels, operator of this website.

We are bound by the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) contained in the Commonwealth Privacy Act 1988, subject to any exemptions that apply to us under that Act.

We may, from time to time, review and update this privacy policy — including to account for new or amended laws, new technology, or changes to our operations. All personal information we hold is governed by the most recently updated version of this policy.

1. Information we collect

The personal information we collect generally falls into these categories:

  • Contact details — supplied by you from time to time, such as your name, email address, phone number and business details.
  • Enquiry and project information — details you share with us about a project or enquiry, such as your business, your goals, and any content or material you provide for a build.
  • Click trail data — the paths visitors take through the website, generally recorded against IP address.
  • Publishable content — testimonials, comments or other content you’d like us to publish, if you choose to submit any.

We do not store usable credit card information. Where payment is taken online, it’s handled by our payment processor, and we retain only what’s needed to confirm a transaction occurred (such as the last few digits of a card and a transaction reference) — never the full card number.

2. How we collect it

Contact details, project information and publishable content are collected when you supply them to us, whether via this website, by email, or by phone.

Click trail data is recorded automatically as each request reaches the website, and may include the type of browser you’re using, the date and time of your visit, your IP address, the site that referred you to ours, and the pages you view. This can be correlated over time using cookies, as described in section 6. In most cases click trail data is not directly identifiable to you personally.

3. Why we collect it and how we use it

We collect your contact and project details:

  • To respond to enquiries and quote requests
  • To confirm your identity
  • To deliver the services you’ve engaged us for
  • To keep you up to date with project status, invoices and — where you’ve opted in — other updates

We collect click trail data:

  • To measure and monitor the performance of our website
  • To understand interest in our services
  • To refine and improve our website’s content
  • To monitor our website for misuse or violations of our Terms of Use

Publishable content (such as a testimonial or a piece of work you’re happy for us to show) is collected and published, where applicable, with your permission.

4. How we disclose it

We may disclose your personal information to third parties, and you consent to us doing so, in the following circumstances:

  • As part of a sale of all or part of our business
  • When you’ve explicitly authorised us to at the time you supplied the information
  • As required or authorised by law
  • To process payments, via our payment processor
  • If we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to investigate a breach of our Terms of Use or unlawful activity
  • To lessen or prevent a serious threat to a person’s health or safety

5. Publishable content

If you submit content to us for publication (such as a testimonial, a comment, or material relating to a completed project), you’re giving us permission to publish that content on this website, and you confirm you either own it or have the right to let us publish it. This doesn’t extend to information you’ve specifically asked us to keep private, except where publication is necessary to address a clear breach of our Terms of Use.

If you find your personal information published on this site without your consent, contact us immediately using the details in section 10.

6. Cookies

Cookies are small pieces of information passed between your browser and our server, used to maintain session state or retain information between visits. We use cookies to support basic site functionality and to understand how the site is used.

7. Opting in and out

You can opt out of non-essential cookies through your browser settings; this may affect some site functionality. If you’ve given us your email address, you may be asked whether you’d like to receive project updates or other communications, and you can opt out of those at any time by contacting us or using any unsubscribe link provided.

8. Information management and security

We take reasonable steps to keep the personal information we hold secure, including password protection and secured servers. That said, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and you provide information to us online at your own risk. We’re not responsible for the privacy or security practices of third parties, including our payment processor and hosting providers, which are governed by their own policies.

You’re responsible for keeping any login details you use to access this website secure.

9. Accessing your information

You have the right, subject to exceptions under the Privacy Act 1988, to seek access to and correct the personal information we hold about you. If you make an access request, we’ll ask you to verify your identity first, and may charge a reasonable fee to cover the cost of responding.

10. How to contact us

If you have any questions or concerns about how we collect, use, disclose or store your personal information, or would like to access or correct information we hold about you, please get in touch via our contact page.
