Wide Bay Volunteers

Wide Bay Volunteers contracted Crunch Pixels to redesign their existing site. As Wide Bay Volunteers rely on the skills of volunteer staff,  the organisations existing site had not been updated for at least 2 years. We implemented an easy to use CMS that would allow volunteers to update the site and modify content as frequently as needed.

As the old site was not search engine friendly, we made sure the new site would be indexed and rank well in search results.

As part of the new site we designed a brand new logo and colour scheme that encourages interaction with the site. The site design is simple, yet highly effective, visually appealing and clean.

Garry Slik, the Manager of Wide Bay Volunteers was initially reluctant to change to the new logo, but after seeing the final result decided it should be used on all promotional material and organisation letterheads.

The staff and volunteers at Wide Bay Volunteers now maintain and update the site on a monthly schedule.
